Come join us for Clifford Odets' Waiting for Lefty which was inspired by the New York taxi strike of 1934 and first staged by the Group Theatre in 1935. Clifford Odets is considered the most gifted American social protest dramatist of the thirties and certainly one of America's great playwrights. We look forward to sharing with you this very timely powerful play filled with passion, politics, and corruption.
