Earth-friendly Landscaping and work party
Want to learn about plants? Want to learn about earth-friendly landscaping principles? Want to serve your community? Want to make new friends? Want to have fun outside? If this all sounds fun, come join us on Thursday, August 16 at Pacific Park for a work-and-learn party. Master Gardener, landscape designer and gardening coach, Beth Goodnight will give a 30-45 minute talk on earth-friendly landscaping.
You will learn about sustainability and the basics of caring for your yard in cooperation with Mother Nature.
After the talk we will do a little weeding in the demonstration gardens. And there will be time to ask questions and Master Gardeners will be on hand to assist. Dress appropriately for the weather. No tools are necessary, but you may want your own gloves if you use them. Bring drinking water.
