Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical. This original musical written for kids but adored by adults is geared towards teaching the message that "our differences don't make us outcasts, they make us awesome". Book by Melvin Tunstall and Lyrics by Douglas Lyons music by Greg Borowsky & Douglas Lyons.
"Polkadots" follows a young girl names Lily Polkadot who moves to the town of Squareville and finds that she is not accepted because of their differences. A unique and creative way to address the affects of segregation to children, and some adults.
Limelight is proud to announce that they will be hosting the area's premiere of this show that is both fun, witty and delivers the most positive of messages. This show is already taking the theater world over by storm, with one acceptance at a time. Be there to be able to say I was there when this show was on the brink of national popularity and fame.
