Movement Research presents A GLIT-TOGETHER featuring Jasmine Hearn & Shantelle Courvoisier Jackson
If a show sells out, a wait list will start at the door at 7:30 pm.

Movement Research presents new work by their fall Van Lier fellows, choreographers Jasmine Hearn and Shantelle Courvoisier Jackson.

Jasmine Hearn's the sable venus, blue and burning is a solo that uses her memory of waters she has visited and waters that have visited her as source for a collage of dance, song, and story-telling. This solo draws on imagery from an ongoing collaboration between Jasmine and visual artist and activist Jennifer Myers.

Shantelle Courvoisier Jackson will share a practice called Onbeingbecoming or Againundoing: an awakening of the mysterious feminine as well as an internal alchemy within the individual and the collective. Jackson shares rituals and acts of devotion, with the goal of dissolving duality and loosening exclusionary concepts and constructs that uphold injustice.

TICKETS: $13

A native Houstonian, she graduated magna cum laude from Point Park University with her B.A. in Dance.  Jasmine travels around the country to showcase her choreographic work and to participate in diverse dance projects.
