PythonProv will guide experienced improvisers through the Monty Python style of comedy, and how to use the Python approach to your long form improvisation.
Presented in a three hour workshop, PythonProv will examine the components of Monty Pythons Flying Circus and the different writing styles involved, and focus on the stream of consciousness approach that was so important to their TV shows. Students will improvise Pythonic interviews by incorporating two disparate concepts; use various Python concepts to create documentaries and news reports, and even learn how to apply John Cleeses secret for sketch-writing to improv.
