3rd Annual IndieCapitol Awards
The IndieCapitol Awards is a public event created to spotlight the individual and collective achievements of the Greater Washington Metropolitan areas locally produced independent films. With our promise of free submission and low admission cost, we strive to produce the best possible awards show to celebrate the Washington Metro's independent film spirit and provide an experience for attendees to be introduced to the work of their peers as well as promote an opportunity for networking for the advancement of the areas independent film offerings.
The definitive purpose of the IndieCapitol Awards is to simultaneously strengthen and champion the local film community. Its goal is to create a milieu for area filmmakers to be noted for exceptional work while inspiring one another to push the creative boundaries of locally produced content.
