Being as an Ocean is an American melodic hardcore band from Alpine, California, formed in 2011. They are currently signed to InVogue Records. They have released two full-length albums, Dear G-d and How We Both Wondrously Perish. How We Both Wondrously Perish charted at number 57 on the Billboard 200 in America.

The band recorded their second studio album in Atlanta, Georgia at Glow In The Dark Studios. It was released on May 6, 2014.
