John Doyle with Colin Farrell at Music in the Gallery Concerts

Music in the Gallery is a monthly concert series which is held in the James Arnold Mansion, home of the Wamsutta Club in New Bedford, MA. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the concerts begin at 7:30 PM. The Club kitchen is open for dining during the concert with a limited menu. The Wamsutta Club is open to the public for these concerts. Seating is limited so advance ticket sales are suggested.

Impossibly in demand in the studio and on the road, immensely talented and blessed with an acute ear, a wicked sense of rhythm and seemingly endless stream of magic in his playing, composing, performing and producing, John Doyle is solidly establishing himself as one of the most versatile, creative and prolific voices in folk and traditional Irish music.

He will be joined by fiddler extraordinaire, Colin Farrell. Colin started playing the fiddle and tinwhistle from an early age. He has made a name for himself performing and recording with an array of great musicians in Europe and the US, including such groups as Flook, Grada, E2K, The Liam OConnor band, Karen Casey, The Elders, Julie Fowlis, The Michael McGoldrick Band and is currently playing with the band Lúnasa.
