QCST presents "Into the Woods"

Quaboag Community Summer Theatre is thrilled to announce we will be presenting Stephen Sondheim's spellbinding musical, "Into the Woods" this summer!

Show Dates are Friday, August 5th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 6th at 2:00 & 7:00 p.m. in the Quaboag Regional High School Auditorium (284 Old West Brookfield Road in Warren, MA).

Tickets are $15 for Adults, $10 for Students & Seniors (age 65+), and $7 for Youth (age 12 and under).

This Tony Award-winning musical by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim takes everyone's favorite fairy tales and mixes them all together into a comical, enchanting, and touching story.

When a Baker and his Wife learn they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to collect the objects needed to lift the spell. Along the way, they cross paths with others who have unfulfilled wishes of their own, including Cinderella, who wants to attend the ball, and Jack (of beanstalk fame), who wishes his cow would produce milk. Soon, two Princes, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, the Big Bad Wolf, among others, are caught up in the couple's quest. Everyone gets their wishes soon enough and will seemingly live happily ever after... but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
