Open Book tours at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art

Please join us for one of our upcoming Open Book tours featuring the works currently on display in the Sherry Grover Gallery. Either BIMA Founder and book arts curator Cynthia Sears or a special guest book artist will guide a special showing of selected works outside of the display cases, allowing viewers to see the movement and multiple dimensions so critical to understanding book arts.

Space is extremely limited; each Open Book meets in BIMA's Sherry Grover Gallery from 11am to 12pm on the following Saturdays:

October 1 - Cynthia Sears

November 19 - Mari Eckstein Gower
December 3 - Cynthia Sears

NOTE: Due to the sensitive nature of handling artists' books, participants who register for these events agree to wash their hands prior to meeting, or wear cotton gloves as requested.
