In a moon-drenched enchanted forest, a quartet of doting young lovers, a rough and ready troupe of misguided amateur actors, and an elegant royal couple cavort and collide with the fierce and powerful King and Queen of the fairies and their magical minions.  For one spellbound evening, hate meets love, delusion becomes epiphany, pratfalls give way to philosophy, and dreams awaken into reality...or do they?

A transcendent blend of wild farce and wildflowers, Shakespeare's beloved comedy weaves together some of his most breathtaking poetry with the "silliest stuff that ever I heard." This new production by the Los Angeles Valley College Department of Theater Arts features performances by Valley students Justin Delacroix, Katherine Arevalo, Jonathan Beckner, Victor Flores, Lizbeth Saldivar, Conrad Cruz, Vincent Smith, Sophia Palermo, Matt McLaughlin, Nick Goodreau, Steven Montoya, Chase MacLeay, Ben Hernandez, Nancy Garcia, Antonio Cruz-Ventura, Steven Fisher-Collins, Lily Alquist, Robert Butler, Nelly Chermakyan, Amy Lynn Perea, Mareena DAngelo, Ashley Francisco, Tiana Barraza, Angela Brutyan, Autumn Burks, Mireya Carpio, Renee Nadres, Kate Reinking, Christine Semerdzhyan, Colton Castaneda, Cole Castine,Joshua Esquivel, Dion Kubal, Louis Lake, Orlando Munoz, Andrew Robinson, and Tristan Samson.

Read, costumes by Valley student Kamille Bennett.  Music by Valley student Mary Eudiah Onyango and choreography by Natasha Lopez.  The production stage manager is Rita Cannon; her assistants are Victor Gonzalez, Brian Vasquez, and Alexandra Han.
