Nina Romanenko is a Connecticut singer, guitarist and songwriter who loves working with and performing for people of all ages. She's a former therapeutic recreation director and voice major with training in music therapy and has been part of bands like Mystery Train, No Soap Radio and East River Junction.  She's appeared in venues including the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center, Groton Sub Base, Cheney Hall and the Essex Eagle Festival and has opened for artists like, Danny and the Juniors, the Drifters, Tom Rush and Jeffrey Gaines.  She currently performs solo, duo or with her band and also in projects with other artists.  She puts on therapeutic music programs at Healthcare Facilities and also donates her services to various causes such as women's issues, cancer research and Connecticut Veterans.
Kevin Gallagher - instrumentalist and composer - hails from Bergenfield, NJ - a musical town where he was inspired and influenced by many favorite musicians. He picked up his first guitar at age 13 and in high school - became enamored with bluegrass and mastered the dobro and steel guitar. As an adult, he went on to expand his repertoire and also learned to play the mandolin. He studied music theory and jazz at Ramapo College in NJ. as well as Golden West College in CA where he also became interested in classic rock, folk and Irish folk. He has played in numerous bands including The Sophistacats, Birch Creek, Bluebird and Cotton Hollow Rising. He's performed in venues such as Connecticut's renowned Sounding Board, The Vanilla Bean and The Buttonwood Tree. Kevin is currently performing with Sweetheart Mountain as well as along with Nina Romanenko and Cece Borjeson in The Rumblings.
Cece Borjeson has been a regional favorite on the folk scene since 1996, playing solo, duo (with Ruth George), and with several bands (Birch Creek, Cotton Hollow Rising, Allendale Rose). A multi-instrumentalist and accomplished singer, she is happy to now be a part of Nina and the Rumblings, laying in percussion, banjo, vocals, harmonica and more. Ceces discography includes 4 Cds (Shadows and Light, The Cost of Freedom, Hearts in Harmony and Perennials), as well as guest vocals on several Cds for other players. While her musical taste runs to various styles from ancient to contemporary tunes, her love of traditional music garnered her bookings to open shows for the likes of Odetta and Jeanne Richie. She is a regular annual presenter at the New England Family Folk Festival, with sessions including BanjO Brother Where Art Thou (southern singing styles), Building a Memory Palace (memorization technique), Contemporary Ballads, the History of Balladry and many others. With a wicked sense of humor, Cece believes that some of the most interesting moments during a concert happen in between the songs  audience connection is the key to her enjoyment of performing.
