Mr. Scrooge
This classic tale based on "A Christmas Carol," by Charles Dickens, teaches us to value the people in our lives more than money or material possessions. The play opens outside the office of Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Eve 1871 in London, England. Scrooge, whoes life focus is making money, considers celebrating Christmas a waste of time. In contrast, we meet his poor but happy clerk Bob Cratchit and his family, including his frail son, Tiny Tim, who needs medical care that his family can't afford. Despite the Cratchit's kindness to Scrooge, "Bah Humbug!" is all they hear from him. Three Spirits visit Scrooge on Christmas Eve and show him what a greedy miser he has become and the fate that lies in store for him if he doesn't change. Will Mr. Scrooge become a kind and loving man or will he stay the same? Come see what happens in this marvelous holiday musical tale for the whole family.
