Kids/Family Concert with Eric Herman and Puppy Dog Dave

An Eric Herman show is a rock 'n' roll family concert experience like no other. Imagine the enthusiasm and energy of Jack Black, the comic delivery of Weird Al, the musical chops of Sting, and the crazy charm of your cool Uncle Bob, and combine that with instantly engaging songs about monsters, dancing animals and arguing pirates, and you've got yourself an incredible time. Bursting with comedy, creativity and audience participation, Eric's show has been described as hands-down wonderful, one-of-a-kind children's entertainment (Michelle Hankes, Event Coordinator, Everett WA) and highly entertaining for all ages, including adults. (Tricia Lindsey, Librarian, Colorado Springs CO) For this show, Eric will be performing with Puppy Dog Dave, the guitarist and backing vocalist for his full band. Eric and Dave make for a dynamic duo, playing off each other with great humor and harmony.

Over the past few years, Eric's show has also featured his daughters, Becca (13) and Evee (11) - who Eric claims are increasingly stealing his show doing a hilarious introduction (mostly making fun of their Dad), performing comical and sweet costumed theatrics during Steve the Superhero, Blackbeard, Bluebeard and Redbeard and The Tale of the Sun and the Moon, and singing/dancing/joking along in various entertaining ways.

Other highlights of the show include a so you think you can dance really badly dance contest during Ants in Your Pants, with actual CD prizes as judged and awarded by Becca and Evee; a scary story with a squirt-gun ending (There's a Monster in My House); Eric and Dave doing impressions of Yoda, Batman and Mickey Mouse and other geeky celebrities during the audience-favorite, Take a Bath; a very unique drum solo by Dave; and several exhilirating and energetic songs where everyone old and young is moving along, or at least trying to (Dance Like an Animal, November First, You Are What You Eat, What a Ride). And at some point, Eric will give Dave a break to do a solo rendition of his big YouTube hit (30 million views), The Elephant Song, which continues to be a tremendous crowd-pleaser, and continues to highlight his baffling lack of animal knowledge (you'd think he'd have learned by now!).

Whether you are seven or sixty-seven, Eric Herman will have you smiling from ear to ear, dancing from limb to limb, and laughing from funny bone to funny bone.
