Spindrift Dance Company Presents: What Goes Up
At what point does the rise become the fall, where is the precipice of no return?

Join us as Spindrift Dance Company 2016 presents "What Goes Up".

Under the new direction of Joshua Ornelas, come and enjoy past works from Brianna Anthony reset with new life on a new company and in new space. Witness new influences from Hannah Vaughan and Bianca Mendoza as they bring in ballet and samba styles in exciting forms. New student choreography from our very own Maddie Sutton and a musical theater production sure to leave you falling for all the right clues from Isabel Heaviside.

This year dancers and choreographers explored all the different ways one could fall. Some dances speak to the celestial, as Brianna Anthony explores the fall from grace as Lucifer is cast out from Heaven. Joshua presents the effortless free fall and perpetual motion as dancers skirt across the stage in Billowing Sharpness, while Hannah shows us what it is like to fall out of love with her dance Amass Love. These are only some of the questions we asked ourselves and we hope you enjoy all of our answers.
