Lucas is a handsome young lawyer with a passion for crime novels who runs a business alongside his more charismatic brother Max, and Maxs fiancé Paulina. In the midst of work and preparing for his brother's wedding, Lucas meets the stunning, sexy Bárbara in a café. Lucas is struck by her taste for good literature and quick wit. Lucas takes her home on his first date, and after a night of romance, Lucas wakes up to find Bárbara gone with the cash hoard he's been saving for a new house. Determined to recover his money, he tracks her down but is shocked to find the true identity of the person behind the heist.
