House Concert with High Plains Jamboree (Austin)

When Lindsey and Pete traveled to Austin several years ago, they fell in love with an old timey band of three lovely ladies called the Carper Family. They've stoped through York a few times joining us for a show at the taproom and another show there as well. Beth the fiddle player, has another band too called the High Plains Drifters. They will be gracing our stage for a night of old time songs about new time things.

With roots in northern bluegrass and southern troubadour country, Brennen Leigh, Beth Chrisman, Simon Flory and Noel McKay each come to this new string band with a distinct flavor to their writing and singing.

The band is making their own jukebox memories, playing decades old favorites (theirs, not necessarily everyone else's) and songs they wrote (together and all by their lonesome).
