Reclaimed Freedom at Hollywood Fringe
This show is part of the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, and LA Pride 2016.

Hybriding scripted, real-life facts, and hilarious improv, Reclaimed Freedom is a story about life. A story about Sex Addiction, Sexual impurity and Deviance. A coming of age story about a mid-western cowboy trying to follow his dream in Los Angeles and experiencing defeat for the first time. A Unique story that not only is scripted reality and facts, but hilarious improv along the way. Oh, yea - one more thing: you get to decide what's fact and whats fiction.

RECLAIMED FREEDOM is sure to resonate in the hearts of many.  Based upon a true story, it tells the story of a young mans move from the Midwest to Los Angeles only to fall victim to the allure of California.   The plays main character, Scott, must overcome his sexual addiction, and the lies and entrapment of life in which he has set up for himself.   His partners, John and Kathryn, fully exploit his struggles, causing him to go in a further downward spiral until he hits rock bottom. 80% real, and 20% hollywood-dramatazation RECLAIMED FREEDOM is a unique theatrical concept.   Not only is it scripted and presented with facts throughout, it involves audience suggestion (IMPROV) to tell the story.  Much of the play is set in a theatre-environment itself, and with it, explores themes of homophobia, homosexuality, alcoholism, racism, class, backstabbing, lies and deceit, and trying to find ones true self.

Directed by award-winning director Kenne-James, and assisted director John Guirgis, RECLAIMED FREEDOM stars Scott Campbell, Alaia-Toya Carter, Sean Dassoff, Sarah Jenks, Todd Lien, J. Pace, Jesse Puddles, and Terry Opp. The narrations throughout the show are provided by the voice of the 321 Collective, Theresa Hart. Carter James serves as the Script Integrity advisory.
