Join Anna Landmark and Anna Thomas Bates, co-owners of Landmark Creamery, and learn how to turn a basic gallon of milk into creamy fresh mozzarella and more. Learn the basics of making cheese and other dairy products in your kitchen, from fresh yogurt to aged Alpine style cheeses. Participants will help make fresh mozzarella balls and feta and get to take home their own starter Cheesemaking Kit. Children ages 12 and over are welcome with ticketed adult and own paid ticket (for each child).

A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.

About Windy Fleece Farm & Landmark Creamery:

Landmark and her husband raise a small flock of heritage breed sheep, Navajo Churros, on Windy Fleece Farm. This little farm and those sheep, along with a noisy milk cow named Freckles, two goats named Giselle and Celeste, and a passion for local food and cooking became the roots of Landmark Creamery. Landmark Creamery is run by the two Anna's, making things very confusing, or very simple. Landmark makes the cheese and Thomas Bates eats it (and sells it.)

CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS. SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.

Of course, we're always looking for ways to make your experience better, so let us know what we did right and what we could improve upon. Hope to see you back again next year where they'll always be something new to taste, animal to meet or soil sister to greet.
