Hailing from Grayson County, Virginia, Hard Cider, showcases a wide range of mountain music, from originals by the bands founders to classics. The groups performances bear many influences, including country rock, bluegrass, and singer-songwriter Americana. In 2014, Hard Cider was named the Americana Instrumental Group of the year by Blue Ridge Acoustic Uprising.
