David Brewer and Rebecca Lomnicky in Concert
Multi-instrumentalist David Brewer and fiddler Rebecca Lomnicky return to Mendocino, where last year they wowed the audience with their virtuosity and passion.
David Brewer's incredible energy and talent has been showcased in the band Molly's Revenge, a perennial favorite at West Coast music festivals. Playing Highland bagpipes, small pipes, whistles, bodhran, and whatever other instrument comes into his hands, he breathes new life into traditional Scottish music. Rebecca Lomnicky's achievements include winning the prestigious Glenfiddich International Scottish Fiddle Championship at Blair Atholl, Scotland. Together, they have developed a remarkable style of play, each setting the other up as they weave in and out of the lead, selflessly expressing the joy and excitement they find in the tunes.
Their music and personal style are a perfect match for the Matheson acoustics and the Mendocino audiences. This is sure to be a memorable night!
