SALSA Lotería
Motus Theater and Programa Compañeras are proud to present SALSA Lotería, an autobiographical monologue performance exploring the life, strength and resilience of Latina immigrants from our community.
Monologues written and performed by Rosa Elena Valle Cerezo, Carmen Reina Nelson, Laura Adriana Soto Rubalcava, Teresita Lozano, Elena Aranda, and Ana Karina Casas Ibarra under the direction of Kirsten Wilson as part of a Motus Monologue Workshop. Special guest artist Ligia Batista Silverman.
Learn about the obstacles these women face, the love of family that inspires them and celebrate their courage to leave their home and venture to a new country.
