CubaCaribe presents: The 12th Annual CubaCaribe Festival of Dance and Music April 14 - April 30, 2016 Cuba On My Mind
The acclaimed annual folkloric and contemporary dance and music Festival will feature three exuberant weeks of Caribbean dance and music performances, master classes, film screenings, lectures and celebrations throughout the Bay Area.
Film Screening: "They Are We" Directed by Emma Christopher. Can a family separated by the transatlantic slave trade for 170 years sing and dance its way back together? THEY ARE WE tells the story of survival against the odds and how determination and shared humanity can triumph over the bleakest of histories.
