Bob Franke plays at the Roots Cellar
Singer/Songwriter Bob Franke will play at the Roots Cellar Music Series at University Baptist Church on Saturday, April 9 at 7 pm.
Bob Franke's songs have been popping up in bars, Renaissance fairs, hymnals and tombstones, as well as the repertoires of folks such as Peter, Paul and Mary, Kathy Mattea, June Tabor, Tony Rice and Claudia Schmidt for 50 years now. His live shows with guitar are a near-legendary mixture of laughter, tears, singable choruses and slapstick spirituality.
