SoundWORK Summer 2012

SoundWORK, Pamela Z's sound and performance workshop exploring experimental music, audio art, voice, and interdisciplinary performance practices will take place in the mid July through mid August 2012.

Tuition: $295
You may pay the entire tuition or make a $100 deposit to hold a space. Or you can contact the instructor to make arrangements to pay by check.

The workshop includes six 3-hour group meetings on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, plus a one-hour private meeting. (More private sessions can be added for a modest additional fee.)

Participants explore experimental composition techniques, vocal experimentation, the work and ideas of new music composers and sound art practitioners, and receive hands-on instruction with tools (software, hardware etc.) and techniques for the creation of sound and performance works.
Workshops include group meetings and sign-up time for private consultation (plus additional Skype or phone consultation as needed).

SoundWORK will meet at Pamela Z's San Francisco studio in the North-East Mission.

The group sessions will convene once a week:
Wednesdays, July 18 - August 22, 2012, 6:30 pm -9:30 pm, and
Private Sessions will be scheduled via individual sign-up.
One private hour for each participant (to be scheduled during the weeks of the workshop) will be Included in the tuition. Participants can elect to sign up for additional private hours at $50 an hour.
