Please join us September 8th, 2012 from 3pm to 8pm for the annual Shelby American Collection party in Boulder, CO. Don't miss this once in a lifetime event to celebrate the life and achievements of our friend Carroll Shelby and the 50th Anniversary of the Cobra. Our special guests will include F.I.A. World Manufacturers Champion drivers Bob Bondurant and Jack Sears. Other famous Shelby American Team members who contributed to the storied history of Carroll Shelby's racing automobiles will include racing greats Allen Grant and Tom Yeager. In addition to the museum's unmatched collection of Cobras, GT40s and original Shelby Mustangs, we will have an outdoor car show featuring cars from the 1960s Cobra racing era along with other unique vintage cars. And, just like last year, we invite you to bring your own special collector car to show off in reserved parking areas next to the museum.

The party celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Cobra will feature:
- Shelby American Team members will share their memories of Carroll Shelby
- Free autograph session with members of the Shelby American Team
- Free collector's poster commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Cobra
- Outdoor vintage car show featuring unique Shelby cars and other sports cars of the era
- Live band playing 60's music
- Outdoor barbecue
- Open bar featuring wine, beer and Coyote Gold Margaritas
- Special parking areas to show off your own Shelby automobile or collector car
- Silent auction of unique Shelby memorabilia and other exciting items
The schedule for the event is:
- 3pm: doors open
- 5pm: Shelby American Team members talk about racing for Carroll Shelby
- 6pm to 7pm: autograph session with Shelby American Team members
- 7:30pm: silent auction closes
- 3pm to 8pm: outdoor vintage car show
- 3pm to 8pm: live 60s music, barbecue and open bar
- 8pm: event close
To avoid long lines at the will-call ticket entrance, we suggest that you choose print-at-home tickets, mobile phone tickets, or physical tickets (mailed to you).
The Shelby American Collection is a non-profit, volunteer organization. $50.00 of your ticket price is tax deductible. All funds from this event go to supporting the continued operations of the Shelby American Collection museum in Boulder Colorado. The Shelby American Collection is the premier and most extensive collection of Shelby Cobras, Shelby Mustangs and Ford GT 40 cars, historical records and memorabilia.
