Slagel Family Farm Tour & Dinner Event with Big Star, Bien Trucha & Antique Taco!
Slagel Family Farm is excited to announce their farm tour & dinner on August 13th, 2016. The afternoon will begin with a Farm Tour, given by LouisJohn (The Farmer), of his family livestock farm. Guests will see a variety of livestock and learn about the old fashioned production practices the Slagel's use to produce their farm fresh meat products. Following the farm tour, a TACO dinner will be served family style in a barn right next to the livestock pastures. The dinner will be prepared and served by Guest Chef Julie Warpinski from Big Star, Chef Gama Martinez from Bien Trucha and Chef Rick Ortiz from Antique Taco. Feel free to BYOB; lemonade and water will be provided. Bus transportation from Chicago will be provided; when purchasing your ticket please select if you would like to take the bus or not. The Bus will pick up guests from Big Star 1531 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60622 at 12:00 noon on August 13th. Children are welcome as long as they have parent supervision.
