Keith Johnstones Lifegame
Lee says "I was once informed by an improviser of some standing that my company, Improbable, were doing Lifegame all wrong. This was quite a challenging thing to hear as Lifegame is one of our perennial shows - a real favourite that we return to again and again.
We first toured it in 1998 when Keith came over and taught us the format. Since then it has taken us to California and New York, Sydney and Brisbane, Lyric Hammersmith and the National Theatre.
The interview / biography improv show now appears in many forms and under many names but this workshop will look at how Improbable perform Keiths Lifegame. Not so much the improvisational skills required, those are much more readily available than when we first made the show, but more the spirit, philosophy and metaskills which underpin an Improbable approach to the form.
Come along and learn how to do it all wrong".
