2nd Annual Tapas, Tunes & Toasts Event
Celebrating Wayne County's finest food, drink and music!
The Tapas, Tunes & Toasts fundraiser will be an evening of lake-region-only offerings, highlighting Wayne County-produced wine, a tapas-style menu featuring dishes made using Wayne County grown/produced products and live Wayne County-based musical entertainment!
Tapas: The evening will feature farm-to-table catering with The Ant Hill Farm Kitchen. The Anthill Farm Kitchen is the creation of Anthill Farmer and artist, Monique Milleson, who's labor of love here at the farm- cooking, baking, canning and preserving, had her wanting to share her discoveries and innovations with more than just friends and family. Tunes: Prepare to be severely entertained !! The Crackers, born out of a love of performing and sharing their own particular brand and flavor of interpretations of mostly American music, each member of The Crackers brings a unique experience and talent to the table & the stage. With influences as diverse as Merle Haggard to Muddy Waters each show contains a wide range of music to encapture the spirit and soul of the modern American songbook. "The Crackers" consist of John Rocklin on Guitar and Vocals, Jan London on Lead Guitar, Dobro & Lap Steel, Shawn Caden on Mandolin, Banjo, Vocals and anything else with or without strings including Sitar!! www.themcrackers.com
Toasts: Wood Winery, located on the Endless Mountains Wine Trail in Northeast Pennsylvania, is a family owned and operated business where quality wines are hand crafted in small batches. From the time the handpicked grapes arrive at the winery to be processed until the time we transfer the fermented juice into the bottles, the winerys goal is to provide quality products that showcase the bounty of local farmers.
