Liverpool Comedy Improv: One Day Improv Intensive
This full day intensive workshop will develop your skills in comedy improvisation. We start the day with warm-up games and progress onto exploring characterisation and how to bring strong choices at the start of a scene. You will learn how to co-create improvised scenes with generosity and playfulness.
The workshop will be lots of fun! An opportunity to discover your inner 'funny'! Completely non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere. Builds confidence and openheartedness.
Suitable for anyone who has some experience of improv and wishes to develop their improvisation skills further. Also performers, actors, clowns, writers, stand-ups or those who are just curious and like to play!
As an actor Emma Bird has worked in theatres such as The National Theatre. She was a regular character in BBC TV's Casualty. She has worked with top writers such as Jimmy McGovern. As a teacher, I understand the effort and the energy that goes into leading a workshop and I appreciate the standards you encourage and maintain in others. I really did enjoy myself. There is so much to enjoy, learning from you, and so much talent in the group. Julie, Teacher.
I enjoyed]; the supportive atmosphere, laughing a lot and group games that are not a performance.' Jo, Business adviser
