Music FUNdamentals for Ages 6*-9
12-Week Spring Series

Hosted by Musicollaborative's Mid-City/Fairgrounds Studio
in Funky NOLA (1700 North Broad)
Facilitated by Jennie Lavine & Kaya Martinez, MME

The course is designed for 6*-9 year olds to enjoy weekly opportunities to sing, move, play and create together in a small, mixed-age group setting. (*5-year-olds who have completed at least one previous semester of Music FUNdamentals with us may also register.)

All sessions integrate vocal music, hand percussion and mallet percussion, movement and basic music literacy. In addition to group music making facilitated by a certified music educator, time is allowed for instrumental exploration and music theory game play. Diverse repertoire will be selected from world music as well as the Crescent City soundtrack.
