Returns to L'Etage Cabaret for One Night Only
Sunday, March 20, 2016 celebrating The Year of the Raw Onion

Our favorite characters from the pages of The Onion, Americas Finest News Source will grace the stages of LEtage Cabaret once again when the IRC fundraiser celebrating the weekly satirical newsource known for its outrageous and absurd humor comes to town on Sunday, March 20, 2016 for a two-show one night only event.

Proceeds from the two show, one-night only fundraiser will support the IRCs 2016 FringeArts production of Eugène Ionescos The Chairs in September 2016. The Year of the Raw Onion will have performances at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

The 70-minute cabaret-style consortium of commentary is back after a two year hiatus and will contain all-new material, including You Really Dont Know Who People Are Until You Make A Vicious Snap Judgment About Them, I Only Like Movies Where The Whole Cast Dances In A Little Box Next To The End Credits, Theres No Greater Bond Than The One Between A Mother And Her Childs Accomplishments, So Help Me God, Im Going To Eat One Of Those Multicolored Detergent Pods, interpreted by a gathering of favorite Philadelphia performers familiar to IRC audiences, including David Stanger, Andrew Carroll, John DAlonzo, Tomas Dura, Sonja Robson, Bayard Walker and Sharon Geller.

2016 marks The Idiopathic Ridiculopathy Consortiums tenth season presenting rarely produced absurdist gems from authors around the globe. Known for their humorous and thoughtful interpretations of seldom seen works, the IRCs 2015 season included critically-acclaimed sold-out productions of French playwright and father of absurdism Eugène Ionescos Exit the King and David Ives All in the Timing.
