Comedy Night at KJ's Bar
Comedians Matt Owens(New Orleans), Sam Tallent(Denver), and Corbin McDavitt(Hattiesburg)roll into Vicksburg MS for one of epic comedy. Live from KJ's Bar.
Matt Owens Bio:
In November of 2014, Matt Owens was personally selected to open/feature for Louis CK at a sold out show at New Orleans' historic Joy Theater. He was featured at Hell Yes Fest in 2014 and 2015. In February 2015, he performed five nights of shows in New York City. Twice in 2015, Matt headlined at the Joy Theater. After receiving a full acting scholarship, Matt Owens studied and performed Theatre at the University of Mississippi in Oxford. Matt performs stand-up regularly in New Orleans (House of Blues, Howlin' Wolf) and throughout the Southeast. He hosts a monthly New Orleans Comedy Showcase at The Government Street Grocery in Ocean Springs, MS, and regularly headlines sold-out shows at the Castle Theater. In 2014 & 2015, he organized and headlined a New Orleans Comedy Road Tour which ended with sold out shows in the resort town of Saint Simon's Island, GA. Matt has opened for Hannibal Buress, Dave Stone, Louis Katz and has shared the stage with Bill Burr and Darrell Hammond at the House of Blues.

Sam Tallent Bio:
Known for whip-quick wit and rollicking improvisations, Sam Tallent is one of the sharpest, most original rising talents in comedy today. When not touring coast to coast, Sam appears regularly at Denver's Comedy Works, his hometown club, and hosts Film on the Rocks at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. He has been called "the absurd voice of a surreal generation" by the Denver Post, and has worked alongside many of the biggest names in comedy, including Louis CK, Dave Chappelle, Doug Stanhope, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress and TJ Miller. He is also a founding member of fearsome comedy gang The Fine Gentleman's Club, which hosts Denver's premier weekly stand-up showcase, Too Much Fun! Sam has performed at the Oddball Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, Hell Yes Fest, the Chicago Comedy Expo and the NY Film and Television Festival. His debut comedy album, "Sam Tallent Live at the Star Bar" is set for release in the spring.
Corbin McDavitt Bio:
Corbin McDavitt from Hattiesburg, MS started performing stand up comedy at the age of 19, on his birthday. In the very same year, McDavitt was named a semi-finalist at the Scenic City Comedy Search competition at the Comedy Catch in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he lost to a Mellow Yellow Can. In just 4 years, McDavitt has opened up for names such as Hannibal Burress, Tom Segura, Sean Patton, Kyle Kinane, Ben Kroneberg and Jared Logan. McDavitt was also a feature name on Andrew Ouellette's Guinness World Record Breaking tour for 50 shows in 50 states in 50 days on their stop in Mississippi. McDavitt draws inspiration from comedians such as Eddie Murphy, Patton Oswalt, Dave Chappelle and artist Kanye West. You can catch McDavitt every Monday Night in Hattiesburg at the open mic comedy night at the Neal House.
