MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents:
GRETCHEN RUMBAUGH in "In My Life: A Beatles Songspiel"

Cabaret chanteuse Gretchen Rumbaugh sings theatrical and jazz arrangements of Beatles songs.

GRETCHEN RUMBAUGH

Gretchen has led a very theatrical life: many stages, many lives, many friendships. Her career has blessed her with fascinating opportunities to play real-life women as diverse as Mae West, Patsy Cline, Leona Helmsley and Ann Landers in the format of the One-Woman Show; she also created the role of Wendy in the original Seattle production of worldwide hit ANGRY HOUSEWIVES. Other favorite roles: Mama Rose in GYPSY; Dot/Marie in SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE (Seattle Civic Light Opera); SHIRLEY VALENTINE; Lucy Brown in THE THREEPENNY OPERA; the Drowsy Chaperone in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Broadway Rose Theatre Company); and her dream role of Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD (Portland Center Stage). In Portland, where she resides, Gretchen created and co-produced the professional singer showcase CABARET CHANTEUSE, which she hosted monthly for four years at Tony Starlight's Supperclub. Musical director: John Engerman.

MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents:
THE SIRENS OF SWING in "Still Swingin' After All These Years"

Karen Kay Cody, Joanne Klein and Jayne Muirhead reunite in their tribute to the infectious, swingin' sounds of classic vocal trios such as the Boswell Sisters.

THE SIRENS OF SWING

Sirens of Swing features three of Seattle's cabaret luminaries - Karen Kay Cody, Joanne Klein and Jayne Muirhead - with music direction by John Engerman. First produced in the '90s, their tributes to the infectious sounds of classic vocal trios such as the Boswell Sisters and the Andrews Sisters were hit shows at the Cabaret de Paris. With lush harmonies and jive rhythms, they take audiences on a musical journey back to the 1930s and '40s full of sass and romance. Additional original arrangements of tunes such as "Moonglow" and "Sheik of Araby" make this a musical evening to remember.

March Is Cabaret Month Presents:
ANGIE LOUISE in "Notes From The Underground"

Join "intoxicating" singer-songwriter Angie Louise for an evening of rich, bluesy vocals and songs about barflies, drifters, and dreamers, lovers and losers.

ANGIE LOUISE

Angie Louise is a performer and writer working in music, theatre and film. She is the frontwoman and songwriter for Weimar-inspired band The Love Markets ("Irresistible... A deliciously dark carnival" - Seattle Magazine), familiar to Seattle arts lovers for their appearances at ACT Theatre, City Arts Fest, Seattle Art Museum, TV's ArtZone and more. An Equity actor, Angie has performed many principal roles on regional stages including The 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, Ordway Center (St. Paul), Theatre Under The Stars (Houston), and American Musical Theatre of San Jose. In 2013, Angie and The Love Markets released debut album WORLD OF YOUR DREAMS. Their new album BEAUTY FACTORY will be released in August at ACT's Falls Theatre.
