Bowery Poetry Monday Nights (02/01/2016)

The best night of poetry in NYC! Doors open and signups start at 5:30pm; PoetNY Open Mic from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm; and the Bowery Slam from 9:00pm to 11:00 pm. 'Monday Nights' is Bowery Poetry's signature day of poetry shows, with tickets for all events being sold for $15 and tickets for either the Open Mic or Slam sold for $10; all ages are welcome.

Bowery Slam
Announcing the new Bowery Slam! Our slam is every Monday at 9pm. Compete for a slot on the Bowery Slam Team!
We kick things off on January 11th, with a Fo' Slam of spoken word all-stars muMs, Taylor Steele, Jon Sands, & Roya Marsh to show us all how it's done. With an appearance by legendary slammaster Bob Holman, and your host Ashley August!

$10 admission / $15 for both PoetNY Open Mic & Bowery Slam !
**This evening, the 11th, will be a special celebration and mock slam. What does this mean? Participating slammers were invited by the Bowery team and the result of the night will not count toward our slam season. Our open slam will begin the following Monday, January 18th!
