Bushwick Book Club Presents: Original Music Inspired by Anais Nin's Delta of Venus
Café Nordo, creator of innovative events on the nexus of dining and theater pairs up with The Bushwick Book Club Seattle to explore one of the most titillating and incendiary pieces of literature of our time.
Bushwick's musicians and Café Nordo's Chef Erin Brindley create an evening of music and dining inspired by early 20th century smut. The result is a Valentine's Day celebration of literature, music, sex,and hedonism for couples and singles alike.
Valentine's Day is for lovers! Lovers of books, food, music, and beauty. The Bushwick Book Club Seattle is not your run of the mill book club. They not only discuss books but also write songs inspired by the stories and perform them for a devoted audience of lovers of music and literature.
Café Nordo's peculiar place in the nexus between performance and food has for years created sexy, scintillating evenings and following of food lovers and adventurers. The collaboration is sure to be a heady mix of stimulations musical, tasty, and provocative.
Sunday, February 14th Valentine's Day proper, will cater to couples with special tables for two and bubbly to go around.
Friday, February 12th and Saturday, February 13th all are welcome. Friday night singles are encouraged but couples and groups also warmly welcomed.
