Glasgow Podcart & Detour Presents: United Fruit + guests

The mighty United Fruit are embarking on their first tour of 2012 and they of course required a homecoming show.

So Glasgow Podcart and Detour decided to get together and put the show on in Glasgow's tremendous Stereo.

United Fruit have enjoyed success from their debut album Fault Lines which impressed a cavalcade of media and this homecoming show is not only welcoming them back to Glasgow's bosom, but an opportunity for them to play some of the new songs they have been working behind the scenes on.

Ice, Sea, Dead People hail from London and are shredding, intimidating, fucking loud and ultimately brilliant.

Finally, our special guests are newly formed Alarm Bells. They are made up of ex-Dananananakroyd members John Baillie Jnr, David Roy and Ryan McGinnes plus Ollie Cox and last but not least Paul Bannon of Lady North. A line-up that we are still trying to get over.

You will most probably need ear plugs for this show and a portable catheter as you will be sure to piss the floor with joy.
