PRYOR TRUTH
On the heels of the third annual SOLD OUT production of the Collective:10 short play festival, The Collective NY is back with two weeks of comedy events this December.
We kick things off with PRYOR TRUTH, a new play written and performed by KHALIL MUHAMMAD*, Co-Developed and Executive Produced by VICTORIA DICCE and directed by MARCUS NAYLOR.

A celebration and introspection into the life and legend of 'Richard Pryor,' PRYOR TRUTH gives us a raw moment with one of the artist's most beloved characters and the only one he let live on stage for extended periods of time: Mudbone.
As our guide, Mudbone is charged with bringing the legend to light. As the man behind the mystique, Mudbone says it best: who he was when, who he dared to be, the self-destructive battle he fought, and the realities of the cost of greatness.
Mudbone is both muzzled and raw, and maybe the only voice to tell the story of one of the greatest storytellers we've ever known. It might be crazy, but it might just be true.
NOTE: This production contains adult language and content. 18 and over, please.

GENERAL ADMISSION tickets are $20 and half of the ticket price is donated to NO EMPTY SEATS. You get a seat and you automatically give a seat.
RESERVED SEATS are $40 and $30 of the ticket price is donated to NO EMPTY SEATS. As a 'thank you' for your three-seat donation, a reserved seat will be waiting for you. No need to arrive early to get one of the best seats.
FREE tickets are available to every performance. When you see the performance, we hope you will give what you are able, to provide the same opportunity for someone else.

THERE WILL BE NO LATE SEATING.
Patrons must check in at the box office AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to curtain. At the scheduled curtain time, any unclaimed tickets (including reserved seats and all ticket prices) will be forfeited and made available to the WAIT LIST. It is not possible to hold seats for latecomers, or to seat latecomers during the performance.
The show is extremely popular and the theater is intimate, so there will be NO LATE SEATING. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope you will be able to arrive at the theater early enough to avoid any potential difficulty using your tickets.
