Over four decades, Michigan native, Claudia Schmidt, has delighted music lovers in North America and Europe with her original songs, mastery of the 12-string guitar and exquisite dulcimer playing. She has entertained audiences in small, intimate venues, in 4000-seat theaters and from festival stages in front of 25,000 admiring fans. Her nineteen recorded albums of mostly original songs, explore folk, blues, jazz, and any musical form that will carry listeners into a world of wonder and revelation.
There is always some avenue of exploration in each song, but Claudia leaves it to the imagination of her audience to conjure their own images of her storytelling and song. Hearing her debut album in 1979, one critic praised it as "a clear indication of deep talent and an interest that spans traditional folk to jazz standards." That observation remains as valid today as thirty-five years ago. Whether in a recording studio or performing for fifty or five thousand people, Claudia brings to listeners an eclectic offering of original, traditional and contemporary songs.

Dean Magraw's music is impossible to pigeonhole, and that's just the way he likes it. "Those little bins in the record store," he says,"they don't do justice to the similarities between so-called different styles." Instead, his music is part of a "continuum of us humans putting vibrations into the air, sharing that kind of healing energy, joy, safe and healthy expression of every emotion available." Over the years, Magraw has performed and recorded with some of the finest musicians in the U.S. and abroad, on instruments as beguiling and exotic as the sitar, Japanese shamisen and Indian vina. But, as one critic noted of his solo guitar works, the audience is never left wanting the "rest of the band to join in." He can make a Fender Stratocaster "sound like a dolphin," and push the envelope to take audiences off the beaten path to something completely new. His music has been called "full of energy and life," "mesmerizing" and "visionary." You never know quite what you're going to get when he enters the stage in one of his famously wild shirts. As he performs, it's clear he's not only doing exactly what he wants to do, and does so well, but delighting an audience with his music.
