Edgar Allan Poe's Nutcracker (the un-ballet)

A new ensemble-created holiday event featuring artists with and without disabilities, directed by Taous Khazem and Scotty Reynolds, music composed by Aaron Gabriel.

Interact has combined the eccentric characters of Edgar Allan Poe with the timeless music of Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" to create a holiday show like no other.
When a pair of mysterious travelers stumble into a rural village at the start of a five-day festival the villagers soon discover that Trippetta is the loveliest dancer and Hop-Frog is the liveliest prankster that any has ever seen. Together they fill the festival with music, mirth, and more than a little mayhem. Accompanied by a banjo, an accordion, a fiddle, and more, Interact performers invite you to enjoy this high-energy and wonderfully twisted new holiday show!
