The Crowning of the Woodland Queen
Stir your imagination with this transcendent fairytale for all ages!  "The Crowning of the Woodland Queen" tells the story of a fairy queen to-be, a magical crown of wisdom, and the dark shadow of one who covets the crown for her own...

Ancient Rhythms Dance Company invites you to be captivated by fairies, sprites, water nymphs, tree spirits, and all the woodland folk who come to life at dusk to honor their Queen.  A heart-warming story of redemption, this dance-drama is a feast for the eyes as well as the spirit, told through a unique kaleidoscope of world dance fusion, influenced by Middle Eastern, Central Asian, Spanish, and other dance forms.

After a brief intermission, "The Crowning of the Woodland Queen" will be followed by a second act, featuring presentations of Ancient Rhythm's company repertoire including group and solo performances.
