The distinctly delicious annual gala celebrates the culinary genius and inspired cuisine of the most highly regarded Black executive chefs and restaurateurs from the Seattle region. The CD Forum will honor restaurateur Donna Moodie of marjorie; Anthony R. Miles, partner at Stoel Rives; and Charles Johnson, artist, author, and S. Wilson and Grace M. Pollock Excellence in English Chair at the University of Washington. Each will be honored with our inaugural Connoisseur of the Arts Award.

Join us for delicious food, a silent auction, a delectable dessert auction, and dancing.

Proceeds from Food As Art at Bell Harbor support The CD Forum's mission to present and produce Black cultural programs that encourage thought and debate for the greater Seattle area.

This year's chefs include:

Graca Rebeiro, of Tempero de Brasil. Her menu includes Moqueca de Frutos do Mar; a traditional Bahian seafood stew that is heavily influenced by African cuisine.

Kristi Brown-Wokoma of That Brown Girl, will delight us with collard greens bisque-big Al's turkey club.

For after dinner sorbet, Samuel Bell of Seattle Sorbets will present sorbets in raspberry Merlot, champagne orange, and tequila lime flavors.
