SUMMARY OF PROGRAM:
Over the course of a project, impacts can occur which affect the original plan of work and can delay its completion, resulting in a claim. If maintained properly over the course of the project, a CPM schedule is the best tool to determine the validity of those claims. In this seminar, participants will:
- Understand the basic concepts of a CPM schedule and maintaining it over the course of the project
- Understand a Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and how to properly incorporate it into the schedule
- Understand the difference between compensable and non-compensable time extensions as well as the difference between excusable and non-excusable delays
- Understand what a concurrent delay is and its effects on delay claims.
