Donny Hathaway 70th Birthday Tribute Concert

On Thursday, October 1, 2015, the Atlanta soul music scene celebrates the 70th birthday of soul music legend, Donny Hathaway with an incredible concert.

Vocalists, Kipper Jones, Cleveland Jones, Julie Dexter and Rhonda Thomas team up with Atlanta's tightest backing band, The Icarus Movement to perform songs like "Someday We'll All Be Free", "Giving Up", "A Song for You", "You Are My Heaven" and many more.

This special evening is hosted by WCLK 91.9FM's Jamal Ahmad and will be one that you do not want to miss. This intimate event will be held at The Music Room (327 Edgewood Ave. SE Atlanta, GA 30312). The doors open at 7 PM and the show begins promptly at 8 PM. Advance tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Moods Music or at www.brownpapertickets.com.
