ZIKR - Prayer Dancing of the Whirling Dervishes
Experience a zikr with Postneshin Jelaleddin Loras, creator of the Esta'furullah zikr. Jelaleddin Loras is the founder and President of the Mevlevi Order of America. His form of Zikr (simple movements with devotional chanting and singing) blends traditional Sufi movements and forms with Western musical melodies suited to the North American vocal style to create an inclusive and powerful practice for cleansing the heart and reaching for Unity with each other and the Divine.
No prior experience is required for participation. Wear comfortable clothes and bring heavy socks and an open heart.

PLEASE NOTE! IF YOU INTEND TO JOIN US FOR THE SATURDAY WORKSHOP, YOU WILL SAVE MONEY BY REGISTERING FOR THE WORKSHOP BEFORE 11PM MARCH 10. WORKSHOP REGISTRATION INCLUDES THE FRIDAY ZIKR.
