"The Matchmaker" by Thornton Wilder
The Mendocino College Theatre Arts Department presents Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker, a rowdy farce about love and money which inspired the Broadway musical Hello Dolly! Through the machinations of busybody Dolly Levi, several unlikely couples come together to find happiness in 19th Century New York. A celebration of romance and adventure guaranteed to melt the hardest of hearts! This play is appropriate for most ages, though its humor will be most appreciated by those 10 years old and older. Directed by Reid Edelman.
