Zlatomir Fung - presented by Gualala Arts Chamber Music Series

Sixteen-year old cellist Zlatomir Fung won gold medals at
the 2015 Johansen Competition, the 2014 Stulberg String
Competition and the 29th Irving Klein Competition, as
well as a long list of other prestigious awards.

He has appeared on NPR's From the Top four times, as
well as Performance Today. He has soloed with the Grand
Rapids Symphony, Symphony Pro Musica, the New England
Philharmonic, the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, the
Brockton Symphony, the Concord Orchestra, the Boston
Civic Orchestra, the Lowell Philharmonic, the Nashua
Chamber Orchestra, and numerous other groups.
An avid chamber musician, he has appeared in numerous
venues in the United States and abroad.

Outside of music, Zlatomir enjoys philosophy and
literature, and plays chess competitively. He lives in
Westborough, MA.
