Eye on Artist: David Eisenhour with Nina Bednarsek
Join us for a fascinating and informative presentation weaving artistic practice and cutting-edge scientific resesarch as David Eisenhour and NOAA research scientist Nina Bednarsek discuss their work on ocean acidification. Reception with light food and drink in the Beacon Gallery to follow.
David Eisenhour is a sculptor living and working in Port Hadlock, WA. He portrays and interprets organic forms, and through his artistic processes tells stories of natural history and human experience. David's current BIMA exhibit, SWARM, relates to the proliferation of jellyfish - billions and billions of them - aided by the warming of the ocean and humans' role in manipulation of the environment.
