SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY:

Al Pollard is a Vice President of Argus Media's Risk Management Products Group, responsible for developing a new suite of risk management products used throughout the energy industry for numerous different applications. He has been with Argus since July 2011 when he was hired to build this newly-formed Group.

Mr. Pollard has over 20 years of energy industry experience at several energy companies, including Enron, NewPower, NRG Energy and BP. After spending the first 10 years of his career largely as an energy trader (natural gas and electricity), he has worked in several other capacities during the last 10 years, including structuring, origination, business development, asset optimization and risk management.

Mr. Pollard received his BA in Economics from Columbia College of Columbia University, and he has an MBA in Finance from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. He and his family (wife and 2 children) live in Katy, TX where they have resided for the past 7+ years.
