NORTHERN FACES with STELLAR YOUNG at WOODSTOCK SESSIONS
WOODSTOCK SESSIONS IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE:
NORTHERN FACES & STELLAR YOUNG
FOR A IN LIVE IN-STUDIO EVENT!
Play by play of the evening:
Upon arriving at the property the event staff will guide you to the private farm where the studio is located. There will be some time to view the property and interact with the bands/staff, and possibly some farm animals! When doors open the staff will escort you in to the hand built live room with a view of the control room where the albums will be recorded and later mixed. Just before the Stellar Young set you will be ushered to your seat in the live room for a quick announcement and introduction by the studio owner and producer. Stellar Young will then take the stage at 5:00pm for an hour and a half set that may include some surprises! After the set there will be an extended dinner break where the bands will serve you food. At this time you will have a chance to relax and hang with the band members. After eating your fill you will be invited back into the studio. At 8:30pm Northern Faces will be introduce and play for an hour and half set and the night will conclude with a special moment with both the bands. Around 10:00pm the show will come an end and fans can spend some more time with the bands outside the studio next to a small campfire (bring s'mores!)

With purchase of a ticket to the event you will get access to the recording session and a chance to participate in the making of the bands' live albums. Unlike a normal studio recording session, singing along and clapping are encouraged! Part of the feel of the Woodstock Sessions recordings is the live atmosphere, so we need your presence! You will also get a special limited edition screen printed poster designed by Stellar Young's John Glenn. A BBQ dinner will be provided that evening between the sets. The band members themselves will be cooking the food! There will be vegetarian options as well. You will also receive digital downloads of both Stellar Young and Northern Faces live albums recorded that night.

ABOUT NORTHERN FACES:
Northern Faces are an alternative rock band signed to Equal Vision Records with roots in New York's Capital District. 2015 has already been very much a breakthrough year for the band as they've not only released their debut record, but also spent time on the road supporting The Dear Hunter and on their own headlining summer tour. In addition to those runs the band has also shared the stage with the likes of Royal Blood, The 1975, Cage The Elephant, Kongos, Say Anything, RX Bandits, Electric Guest, Civil Twilight, Heartless Bastards and made waves at both SXSW and CMJ. Needless to say, their brand of guitar-heavy, anthemic rock and dynamic live show has captured the audience at every step along the way.
Fresh upon returning from their headline run on the Back And At It 2015 tour, Albany-based alternative rock trio Northern Faces will head downstate to Woodstock, NY in order to participate in one of the revered Woodstock Sessions at Applehead Studios On October 3rd. The session, which will also feature Stellar Young, will come just a few weeks after wrapping their late summer tour which will include dates at Riot Fest (Chicago and Denver), Music Meets Fashion Festival and a handful of other prominent performances.
ABOUT STELLAR YOUNG:
A multi-genre infused indie rock group based out of Albany, NY, Stellar Young blends their catchy, melodic signature with such varied influences as alternative rock, dance, jazz, and folk. Most recently they played at the Pinelands Music Festival and shared the stage with The Early November, X Ambassadors, CRUISR, and much more. They have also played with The Dirty Heads, We The Kings, Kaiser Chiefs, Bret Michaels, San Cisco, Terraplane Sun, The Features, Civil Twilight, Weerd Science, and The Front Bottoms. Their last two albums have been recorded at Applehead Recording for good reason. Applehead offers up a great atmosphere which is very conducive for writing and creativity. In May 2015, their lastest album VESSELS tied the Alabama Shakes latest releaseon the FMQB SubModern Album Charts for number 7.Property of Zack called the band "...Engaging enough to garner mainstream indie rock fans attention and intricate enough to please music snobs."
